| A Back Yard Bar-B-Que with Perfect Stranger |
|||
| Perfect Stranger . . . . I can tell all you guys
and gals, they are about the most PERFECT Stranger(s) Ive ever met! These boys are
"down home" to the T-bone! "T" for Texas, that is! The group includes
Steve Murray, lead singer, Richard Raines, lead guitar, Shayne Morrison, bass, and Andy
Ginn, on drums. All four come from small towns in Texas. They played 5 nights a week, 5
hours a night, in smoke-filled bars for years, to make themselves an overnight success! After they had pushed Right to Remain Silent to #75 on Billboard Country Charts through their own efforts, Curb Records signed the group. |

after the bar-b-que she had at her home in Hendersonville.
|
|||
| Since recording their first album, the
band has expanded to seven players. With the addition of steel guitar, fiddle, and piano,
the show just keeps getting bigger and better. Now, 3 years after beginning that
self-produced project, the group has just finished a brand new album for Curb Records. One reason its taken so long may the fact that they play 200 gigs each year, at rodeos, festivals and the Texas honky tonk circuit. That added up to 311 days on the road in 1996! |
|||
"Weve got fans driving five and six hours to come to our
shows, thats a big responsibility! Our fans keep us going! We still cant
believe that people line up to get our autographs! Then they start telling us
thats our song! Well stay there until they want to go home! We
dont ever want to get to the point that were unattainable. We just dont
look at ourselves as stars. We want to grow up to be nice guyslike Sawyer
Brown!"

| Nashville has something for
everyones musical taste! This is serious business, just ask one of these acts; Pete
Anderson & Gun Dog, Starvin Hounds, Sponge, The Verve Pipe, Cowboy Mouth, The
Wrecking Ball Orchestra, Sleepy LaBeef, Mustard Seed Magic, or Danny & the Dinosaurs!
Never fear, country musics still alive, too! Jolenes Kitchen, becomes a weekly radio show, premiering in the winter of 97/98. Jolenes Kitchen, is like no other radio show you have ever listened to. The show is actually recorded in Jolenes home just north of Nashville. Listen as Nashvilles top artists and rising stars take a break from the road, as they return home. Jolene will serve up some good ole southern hospitality, homemade biscuits & gravy and maybe a little "Jam". Fans will be able to listen in at Jolenes as the stars kick back, cut up, tell road stories, strum & hum and spin their favorite songs and latest hits. Jolene will show the fans the human side of the guys & gals out there, traveling the countryside, on their way to and from concerts. |
